Miss SNPJ 2025 Erin Lawrence is a lifelong member of Lodge 138 in Strabane, Pa. She is the daughter of Robert and Jan Lawrence, and the granddaughter of Robert and Rose Lawrence.

Since graduating from Canon-McMillan High School in 2022, she now attends Robert Morris University in Moon Twp., Pa., where she is an upcoming junior studying criminal justice while completing a certificate in business. Her growing passion of bowling that began in her early years of Youth Circle 19 has continued onto the RMU Women’s Club Bowling team – on scholarship!

In her years at Canon-McMillan High School, Erin was involved with the S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Club, French Club, and Campus Life/Youth for Christ. She was awarded leadership roles including CM Leads (freshman mentoring), National Honor Society, and Student Leader for Campus Life. Erin has served for the monthly Free Community Spaghetti Dinners at First United Methodist Church and has volunteered her time packing snack bags for military families of the Fisher House in Pittsburgh.

Growing up in the SNPJ community has provided Erin with years of activities. In her youth she participated in many holiday parties, Youth Roundup, the Lodge 138 Duck Races, the Canonsburg Fourth of July parade, the Youth Circle 19 bowling league, and SNPJ Family Twosome Tournaments. For most of her life she has attended the annual Slovenefest and National SNPJ Days celebrations. Erin grew to become an assistant to the Circle 19 directors when needed, and as soon as she was old enough she began attending Young Adult Conferences. She looks forward to attending Slovenefest, Young Adult Conferences and the Duck Races every year.

In her spare time, Erin has picked up several hobbies that have turned into passions. She had bowled with the Youth Circle for as long as she was able. Bowling is a family legacy that has been passed down for generations, and she has been very blessed to have her father teach and guide her toward the sport. She is grateful to have received a scholarship to bowl for RMU and hopes to continue the legacy one day.

Erin also loves to bake Slovenian recipes with her grandmother – her favorite recipes are for potica and štruklji – and to assist her grandfather when he makes klobase.
